After Rachel’s commission as Thames poet-in-residence in 2017, Rachel has found a new love and appreciation for the river. As part of the Secret Rivers Exhibition, Rachel has been invited to take part in a talk with Rachel Lichtenstein and Iain Sinclair exploring the narratives from the river through different lenses. The event will display historic and contemporary artworks from artists, poets and authors, thereby showing how London’s rivers have played an important role in the city’s imaginations. The organisation Rachel had her #BoatPoet residency with Totally Thames will be collaborating on the event.
